Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll be involved in everything from concept design through to commissioning, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies that support Australia's energy transition.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to build strong technical capability, work on meaningful projects, and develop their career within a globally connected team.\nWhat You'll Do\nContribute to the design and delivery of control and instrumentation systems for renewable and conventional power generation projects.\nDevelop PLC, DCS, and SCADA solutions for a range of industrial and energy applications.\nWork with communication systems and protocols including Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, OPC, and IEC 61850.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across electrical, power systems, and renewable energy projects.\nAssist with engineering studies, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.\nSupport testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.\nParticipate in site visits and work directly with clients to help deliver practical solutions.\nLearn from experienced engineers while progressively taking ownership of project deliverables.\nAbout You\nBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.\nApproximately 2-6 years' experience in control systems, automation, instrumentation, or power generation projects.\nExperience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, or industrial communications systems.\nAn interest in renewable energy, battery storage, power generation, or industrial infrastructure.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a desire to continue developing technically.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.\nWorking towards Chartered status or interested in pursuing professional accreditation.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe’re committed to a workplace where you’re supported, heard, and empowered to grow your career.
