The role is a blend of development, operations & system administration to assist in expanding the deployment of our templated solutions.\n Collaborating with a UK-based team of digital specialists to design, develop, and deploy scalable Power BI reporting solutions.\n\nSupporting the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and data models aligned with business requirements.\n\nDeveloping and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring high data accuracy and performance optimization.\n\nWorking with various data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, Python script, ArcGIS, APIs) to transform and model data using Power Query and DAX.\n\nAssisting in the design, development, and delivery of complex, customized reporting solutions, both independently and as part of a team.\n\nImplementing automated data refresh processes and monitoring data pipelines to support business reporting needs.\n\nApplying governance best practices, including data security, workspace management, version control, and deployment pipelines.\n\nCreating and maintaining documentation such as data dictionaries, report specifications, and user guides for Power BI solutions.\n\nREQUIRED ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERTISE\n5+ years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and performance optimization.\n\nStrong experience in building interactive and insightful visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.\n\nStrong understanding of data modeling concepts including relationships, measures, calculated columns, and star schema design.\n\nStrong working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, and basic optimization), along with experience in integrating data from multiple sources such as SharePoint Online, APIs, SQL and enterprise systems.\n\nExperience working with REST APIs and integrating external data into Power BI through connectors and automated workflows.
