Working closely with clients, partners, project teams and business leaders, you will help shape innovative solutions, secure new opportunities, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.\nWorking alongside our established Nuclear leadership team and global network of experts, you will play a key role in growing WSP's Nuclear business to deliver some of the UK's most significant Nuclear opportunities, including:\nSmall and Advanced Modular Reactors (SMRs and AMRs)\nNuclear new build and major infrastructure programmes\nSellafield and associated projects\nEmerging strategic opportunities across the UK Nuclear sector\nThis is an opportunity to help build something meaningful. You will play an important role in developing our capability, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of our Nuclear business.\nRole Accountabilities\nNuclear Growth and Market Development\nSupport WSP's Nuclear growth strategy and identify future opportunities.\nBuild trusted relationships with clients, partners and key industry stakeholders.\nContribute to strategic pursuits, bids and capture activities.\nWork with senior leaders to convert opportunities into successful programmes and strengthen WSP's UK market position.\nDesign and Engineering Leadership\nLead multidisciplinary teams delivering complex engineering and design programmes.\nDevelop integrated delivery approaches from concept and FEED through detailed design and implementation.\nDrive effective integration across disciplines, project teams and stakeholders.\nSupport mobilisation and provide visible leadership in technically complex, highly regulated environments.\nTechnical Governance and Assurance\nEstablish proportionate engineering governance and assurance arrangements.\nLead engineering reviews, design integration and assurance activities.\nChallenge scope, programme, cost and risk assumptions to support informed decisions.\nPromote technical excellence, safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.\nCapability Development\nGrow WSP's Nuclear capability through recruitment, development and succession planning.\nMentor engineers and project leaders across multidisciplinary teams.\nEncourage collaboration across WSP's UK and global Nuclear communities.\nWhat we are looking for you to demonstrate…\nWe're seeking a recognised Nuclear engineering leader with the credibility, relationships and leadership capability to drive complex programmes and support the continued growth of our Nuclear business.\nYou'll bring experience of:\nLeading multidisciplinary engineering teams on major Nuclear programmes.\nDeveloping and delivering engineering strategies through FEED, detailed design and implementation.\nOperating in highly regulated environments and providing technical governance and assurance.\nSupporting major pursuits, bids and client engagement.\nManaging delivery across geographically and organisationally complex teams.\nYour experience may have been gained within:\nEngineering consultancy\nMajor contractor or EPC organisation\nNuclear operator\nMajor infrastructure environment\nWhat sets you apart:\nDeep Nuclear sector expertise and technical credibility\nStrong commercial awareness and strategic thinking\nProven ability to develop client relationships and win work\nA collaborative leadership style and passion for developing high-performing teams\nThe ability to balance technical excellence with client, commercial and delivery outcomes\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nWork on landmark projects around the world and embrace opportunities to make an even bigger impact in the communities you care about.
