The successful candidate will have the following key attributes:\nPassion for structures and architecture\nExcellent communications skills\nDemonstrated teamwork abilities\nCandidates can expect advanced training in structural design and digital design technology; and participation with colleagues around the world in practice area networks and other forums of learning and collaboration.\nYour Impact\nPerform structural design of new buildings and restoration of existing buildings throughout the United States\nAnalyze and design superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry.\nUtilize latest technology and digital tools for design\nComplete training on assigned tasks.\nExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.\nPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. \nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.\n0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience\nExcellent research skills with analytical mindset.\nFamiliarity with process and concepts for design/build. \nFamiliarity with relevant structural and civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.\nCompetent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.\nProficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.\nAbility to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.\nExperience with Building Information Modeling software, such as Autodesk Revit\nExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.\n\nAbility to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.\nOccasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nRecent/Upcoming Spring 2027 Graduates in an accredited Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate program.\nMasters Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred\nThe successful candidate will have 0-3 years of internship experience in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering.\nExperience using Revit, AutoCAD and/or Microstation software. \nWSP Benefits:\nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
