This role offers the opportunity to contribute to technically complex building systems while working alongside experienced engineers and technologists in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.\nYour Impact\nDesign electrical systems for a wide range of building types and project locations.\nContribute to multidisciplinary design teams by developing electrical designs, coordinating with engineers and technicians, and supporting client communication.\nPrepare electrical designs for power distribution systems (normal and backup), lighting, fire alarm, and building infrastructure.\nEnsure electrical designs comply with the National Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, and other applicable standards.\nPrepare models, drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard CAD and BIM tools.\nSupport construction reviews and contract administration activities.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction, and internal stakeholders.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nDiploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology.\n4+ years of experience in electrical engineering consulting for buildings and infrastructure projects.\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.\nUnderstanding of building construction practices and electrical building systems.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.\nAbility to obtain PSPC Reliability clearance (required).\nEligibility to obtain RCMP clearance is considered an asset.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
