You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of electrical design packages, coordinate with clients and other disciplines, and continue developing your technical and project management capabilities.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an intermediate-level engineer looking to broaden their project exposure and take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.\nAbout the Team\nOur Adelaide Building Services team is part of WSP’s national Property and Buildings business, bringing together specialists across multiple engineering disciplines.\nYou’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors such as Defence, Health, Education, Commercial, Government, Aviation, Transport and Infrastructure, providing exposure to technically challenging and multidisciplinary projects.\nYou’ll join a collaborative team where you can learn from experienced engineers while being given increasing responsibility and ownership as your capabilities develop.\nKey Responsibilities\nUndertake electrical design and documentation for building services projects across a range of sectors.\nDeliver electrical engineering solutions from concept and schematic design through to detailed design and construction.\nPrepare calculations, specifications, reports, drawings and other technical documentation.\nDesign and coordinate electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications and associated building services systems.\nWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure coordinated and practical design outcomes.\nSupport the delivery of multiple projects while managing priorities, quality and deadlines.\nLiaise with clients, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders.\nAssist with site inspections, design reviews and construction-phase technical support.\nApply relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements and WSP design and quality processes.\nContinue developing your technical, client-facing and project management capabilities with support from senior team members.\nKey Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.\n3-7 years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally within the Australian building services consulting environment.\nExperience delivering electrical building services designs across commercial, health, defence, education, infrastructure or similar sectors.\nGood understanding of electrical services including power distribution, lighting and associated building systems.\nWorking knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes, including AS/NZS 3000 and the NCC.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple project priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes.\nA proactive approach with a willingness to continue developing your technical and project delivery skills.\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
