The position will be for Bangalore/Noida/Mumbai location.\n Electrical Engineering Experience in basic and detail design andengineering experience in developing of electrical layout, electrical equipment sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop calculation, short circuit\ncalculation, earthing calculation, lighting calculation, design basis report, technical specification, technical bid analysis, preparation of BOQ, cost estimate, review vendor drawing and document review including quality plan etc.\nExperience in design of LV and ELV electrical system, PLC/telemetry, and Instrumentation and Control design and design of electrical system in hazardous and non-hazardous area as per statutory norms, design of electrical outdoor switchyard and substation etc.\nSound knowledge of IEEE, IEC and Preferred Knowledge of AU codes and standards.\nCandidate should have experience in design and engineering consultancy on industrial design projects like Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, O & G, Power Plant, Metal & mining sector etc.\nDesign of electrical schematics including single line diagrams, starter schematics, PLC drawings, loop diagrams, interconnecting diagrams, General Arrangement, terminal block diagrams\nAssisting with the preparation of technical reports on medium to large projects (design reports, condition assessment report)\nProviding technical contribution to proposals and/or pursuits.\nProducing high-quality technical documentation, that presents complex information and results effectively, to technical and non-technical clients.\nPreparing detailed documentation and specification requirements for Electrical components to support procurement and delivery of allocated projects.\nElectrical system modelling including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis Protective relay setting development, calculation, and coordination studies.\nDeveloping scope of work, conceptual design, and execution plans.\nDeveloping equipment specifications, procuring, reviewing vendor drawings and assisting in factory acceptance testing electrical equipment.\nProvide technical guidance in design optimization, value engineering, design innovation, automation and digital technologies\nMust complete a high-quality self-check of own work with efficiency. Shall follow internal QC processes.\nReporting progress of work assignment to immediate supervisor.\nUnderstands the project schedule and budget requirements.\nCommunicate with internal peers and project team and required to answer questions regarding deliverables.\nCapable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.\nActively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the design process.\nEnsuring that quality procedures are implemented and maintained.\nProvide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Lead Engineer or project manager in Australian lead offices.\nEnsure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.\nSupport the company’s approach to sustainability.\nBe able to communicate in a multi-disciplinary project team.\nBe willing to learn.\nIdentify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to clients. Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline.\nClient / External focus\nMaintain strong colleague relationships and contribute to the teams’ performance of client satisfaction.\nContribute to knowledge sharing in internal and external forums.\nRemain up to date with market and competitor knowledge.\nMandatory Skills\nWe anticipate you will have an interest in the following areas:\nYou will also be computer literate with a reasonable proficiency in MS office suite and Navisworks.\nHaving a thirst for knowledge, cultural awareness, an open mind, and good English\ncommunication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team.\nCoordinating his/her work with other members of the Team.\nWork competently with minimal supervision or on an individual basis.\nKey competencies expected are:\nCollaboration & Teamwork\nTechnical Capability & Delivery\nAdaptability & Learning\nDesired Skills\nStrong preference will be given to candidates with Australian experience.\nPreference will be given to candidates with minimum 4 to 8 year of experience\nin a consulting firm in an EPC environment in the Water treatment and Waste\nWater treatment and networks is an asset.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.\nAbility to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis.\nSoftware Proficiencies\nKnowledge and experience in the application of modelling software and/or\nanalytics techniques. (eg Power CAD and PTW software)\n Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.\nPreferred, Member of a professional body like CIWEM, ICE etc.; Chartered\nor equivalent.\nExperience\n4 years to 8 years of experience in Electrical engineering.\nMinimum of a bachelor’s degree & preferred master’s degree in electrical\nengineering.\nStrong organizational, technical and communication skills.\nStrong attention to the detail.\nExperience with projects in Australia, New Zealand would be an\nadvantage.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.\nP.
