The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.\nAs a Overhead Line Engineer, you will design of a range of Overhead Line Circuits at voltages ranging from 11kV to 400kV.\n Preparing, reviewing, and approving of transmission line tower & foundation design including associated documents and accessories\nPreparing engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design.\nDesigning as per relevant codes and standards\nOptimizing the overall weight of the tower and foundation with respect to tender quantity/li>Performing Sag tension calculation and providing the approximate weight of the tower at the tender stage\nDesigning of transmission tower, with the use of PLS Tower software for transmission line design.\nCreate all associated Engineering Design calculations and documentation.\nSupport the creation of all necessary material bill of quantity schedules.\nAttend site meetings (virtual) and provide ongoing design drawing changes / support as required during project build.\nReviewing designs produced by suppliers and clients to ensure designs are technically compliant and in line with current legislation and policies\nResponsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on moderately complex projects and may determine the key clients in some instances\nCommunicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work on moderately complex projects\n Proven experience in the design of Overhead Line Circuits (Towers and/or Poles) at any voltage up to 400kV.\nBachelor's in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering\nKnowledge of all applicable engineering standards.\nThe ability to design with PLS- CADD, Tower or similar.\nExperience in overhead line electrification projects\nKnowledge of OHL design and construction standards\nProficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PLS-CADD)\nStrong project management skills\nUnderstanding of electrical engineering principles\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings\nExcellent problem-solving abilities\nEffective communication and teamwork skills\nExperience with maintenance and troubleshooting of OHL systems\nKnowledge of safety regulations and practices.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\n\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
