The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively.\nWSP is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our national Remediation Program Management (RPM) team. You will lead work that helps clients understand, manage, and close environmental risks at contaminated sites across Ontario.\nThis is an opportunity for an experienced consultant who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and building strong client relationships. You will help shape field programs involving site monitoring, investigation, and remediation, then translate the results into clear technical reports and practical recommendations.\nYou will be supported by a national team of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. Together, the RPM team delivers projects that vary in type, scale, and complexity across Canada\nYour Impact\nLead projects from proposal and planning through field delivery, reporting, and closeout.\nCreate a safe, positive working environment and demonstrate a consistent commitment to health and safety.\nDevelop trusted client relationships by communicating clearly, anticipating needs, and keeping work moving forward.\nBuild project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resourcing strategies for field staff and subcontractors.\nMaintain strong financial controls, including project tracking, forecasting, and client reporting requirements.\nTurn field and technical data into clear conclusions, recommendations, and client-ready reports.\nMentor environmental scientists and engineers, share project management practices, and help team members grow.\nCollaborate across the national RPM team and the broader WSP organisation to draw on the right expertise for each project.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills. At least eight years of related experience in an engineering consulting environment.\nA university degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.\nA P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation in Ontario, or progress towards one.\nDemonstrated project management experience with contaminated sites, with a preference for experience in the oil and gas industry.\nStrong business and financial acumen, including developing budgets, tracking performance, and forecasting.\nThe judgement to analyse project information, solve problems, and recommend practical next steps.\nThe ability to lead diverse teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.\nA collaborative leadership style and a genuine interest in developing others.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
