requirements, schedules, and technical standards.\nYour Impact\nDevelop, enhance, test, and maintain responsive web applications and digital solutions.\nDevelop user-facing functionality using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end development technologies.\nBuild responsive and mobile-first interfaces that provide consistent functionality across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.\nTranslate UX/UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and functional requirements into high-quality web experiences.\nCollaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, project managers, and other technical professionals throughout the application development lifecycle.\nDevelop reusable components and maintain scalable, organized front-end code.\nIntegrate web applications with REST APIs, JSON data sources, and third-party services.\nSupport development and maintenance of websites and applications using WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS).\nApply accessibility requirements and development best practices consistent with WCAG and Section 508 standards.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, browser compatibility issues, and user-interface problems.\nSupport application performance optimization, including page speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, quality assurance, and technical troubleshooting.\nUse Git or comparable source-control tools to support collaborative software development and code management.\nSupport application deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.\nDevelop technical documentation related to application functionality, configuration, development, and maintenance.\nParticipate in Agile or similar development processes, including planning sessions, technical discussions, development reviews, and project coordination.\nWork within established project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet project milestones and client Are\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in web or software development.\nProfessional experience developing web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.\nExperience with a modern JavaScript framework or library such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or comparable technology.\nExperience developing responsive and mobile-first web applications.\nExperience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, or other web services.\nExperience using Git or comparable version-control systems.\nExperience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and maintaining web applications.\nWorking knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices, including WCAG and Section 508.\nUnderstanding of cross-browser compatibility, semantic HTML, and modern web-development practices.\nAbility to translate functional requirements and UX/UI designs into working web applications.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, project managers, and technical stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven project environment.\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.\nProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.\nOccasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with TypeScript.\nExperience with React, Vue.js, Angular, Next.js, or similar modern front-end frameworks.\nExperience with WordPress or another enterprise Content Management System (CMS).\nExperience developing reusable components or working with established component libraries/design systems.\nFamiliarity with Node.js or other server-side development technologies.\nExperience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern application deployment processes.\nKnowledge of OWASP secure coding practices and common web application security considerations.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.\nFamiliarity with Figma or Adobe XD and collaborating with UX/UI designers.\nExperience working in an Agile software development environment.\nExperience working in a consulting or multi-project environment.\nExperience supporting digital solutions for infrastructure, energy, transportation, or public-sector clients.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools as part
