The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively.\nWSP has a new opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton, Calgary or Saskatoon area. The Project Controller will support the successful delivery of projects by providing oversight of project cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and performance reporting. The Project Controller works closely with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and project teams to ensure projects remain on track, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.\nYour Impact\nDevelop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules. \nMonitor cost, schedule, and project performance against approved baselines. \nPerform variance analysis and identify discrepancies between planned and actual performance. \nSupport project setup, planning, estimating, and resource forecasting activities. \nPrepare and maintain project performance reports, dashboards, and status updates. \nAssist with tracking of project KPIs. \nCoordinate project review meetings and support project governance processes. \nMonitor project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring appropriate escalation when required. \nReview work-in-progress (WIP), accounts receivable, invoicing status, and project financial health. \nCollaborate with Project Managers and Project Accountants to update forecasts and implement corrective actions. \nSupport budget re-baselining, change management processes, and project closeout activities. \nEnsure compliance with organizational project controls procedures and financial controls.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nPost-secondary diploma or degree in accounting/finance, business administration, or other related discipline. \nMinimum 3 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost control, scheduling, or project management support.
