He/she will be responsible to carryout the firefighting engineering designs for various building projects, as on required. Work with other engineers and perform calculations in coordination with our Spain / local engineers.\n Technical\nFocus on the delivery of high quality technical design drawings and specifications to the required regulations\nContribute to technical solutions on projects\nInitiate and participate in design peer reviews\nEnsure internal quality procedures are followed\nKeep up to date with industry developments with respect to own discipline and appreciate the basic technical principles and drivers of other disciplines\nAttending project meetings with the various other teams in Bengaluru\nManage project delivery and leadership\nTo act as project lead on selected projects by managing the successful delivery of high quality multi and single disciplinary projects\nDesign, review and deliver high quality technical fire protection engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports to the required regulations.\nIn conjunction with team lead in India and lead country identify, assess and manage project risks and secure the best commercial return from the project.\nTo ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met.\nEnsure project programs are met and advise on any foreseen delays\nParticipate and support internal multi-discipline knowledge sharing initiatives.\nKey Competencies / Skills\nMandatory skills\nExperience of delivering international projects.\nThe role requires involvement in numerous projects from an early stage to providing fit for construction stage designs\nGood working knowledge of BIM/CAD software packages\nExperienced user of Microsoft Office\nProven ability to produce detailed drawings (plans, sections & details) from engineers’ basic sketches\nExcellent working knowledge of REVIT Software (version 2021 and above ). Including fire protection modelling (Sprinkler system, Fire Hydrant system, etc.,), content creation (parametric and non-parametric families), coordination with structural and MEP elements, Revit schedules, managing work sets/ links/ visibilities, sheet setup and collaboration.\nThe successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a key role in project work, focused on timely delivery and technical excellence.\nThe role requires involvement in numerous projects from an early stage.\nThe ability to create and modify fire and life safety drawings/models based on NFPA, FM-global and local Sweden standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary and also able to perform hydraulic calculations.\nExperience and knowledge in MagiCAD for AutoCAD/Revit will be value added.\nExcellent command of written and verbal English\nDesired Skills\nThe successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a key role in project work, focused on timely delivery and technical excellence.\nThe ability to create and modify fire protection drawings against NFPA and international any local standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary.\nAbility to laisse with other department managers\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering\nMinimum of 5 years relevant work experience\nExperience of MS Office Suite of Programs\nComprehensive experience of technical design and associated discipline software.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
