Through a blend of field investigations, environmental monitoring, data interpretation, and reporting, you'll build practical experience while contributing to responsible environmental solutions.\nYour Impact\nContribute to environmental monitoring programs at aggregate sites, landfills, contaminated sites, and other project locations.\n\nDeliver groundwater, surface water, combustible gas, and soil sampling and testing using established procedures and quality standards.\n\nSupport drilling, test pitting, and other subsurface investigations that help teams understand geological and hydrogeological conditions.\n\nCollaborate with technicians, geoscientists, and engineers to turn reliable field observations into informed project decisions.\n\nProduce organized field records and support the management, analysis, and interpretation of chemical, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data.\n\nStrengthen safe project delivery by following WSP policies, procedures, and site-specific health and safety plans.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geoscience, geological engineering, or a closely related discipline.\n\nEligibility for registration and active progress toward becoming a Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario or a Professional Geoscientist with Professional Geoscientists Ontario.\n\nExposure to environmental, geotechnical, or geo-environmental field work, including groundwater, surface water, or soil sampling, is an asset.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, construction contracts, regulations, and environmental field data.\n\nReadiness to complete outdoor field assignments and travel to project sites; a valid driver's licence and access to your own reliable vehicle or transportation are required.\n\nPractical troubleshooting, technical writing, and data-analysis skills that support accurate reporting and collaborative project delivery.\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
