This role offers the opportunity to combine technical excellence, project leadership, client engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration while developing toward a future Team Lead position.\nYour Impact\nLead municipal infrastructure planning, drainage, and servicing studies that help communities grow sustainably and responsibly.\nDeliver hydraulic and hydrologic modelling assignments that support data-driven decisions for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.\nManage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions across planning, modelling, and detailed design projects.\nProvide technical leadership and senior review for infrastructure planning and hydraulic modelling initiatives.\nBuild trusted client relationships and serve as a key advisor on complex municipal infrastructure challenges.\nMentor and support developing professionals while contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.\nSupport business growth through proposal development, client engagement, and the identification of new opportunities.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, infrastructure planning, or water resources engineering.\nRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, or eligible for registration and actively working toward designation.\nStrong experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, SewerGEMS/CAD, WaterGEMS/CAD, or InfoWater Pro, with advanced proficiency in at least one platform.\nProven ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments while effectively managing budgets, schedules, and project risks.\nDemonstrated experience preparing technical reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables that translate complex analysis into practical recommendations.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across multidisciplinary engineering environments.\nPassion for mentoring team members and contributing to leadership, resource planning, and team development initiatives.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
