In this role, you will contribute to a diverse range of transportation, municipal, industrial, and land development projects, providing geotechnical expertise from initial site investigation through to design and construction support.\nYour Impact\nDeliver clear, technically sound analyses and recommendations that guide major decisions for transportation, municipal, industrial, and land development projects.\nPrepare geotechnical reports, design briefs, and construction-phase guidance to support successful project delivery.\nCollaborate with structural, civil, environmental, and materials engineering teams to integrate geotechnical insight into multidisciplinary designs.\nConduct site visits, field reviews, drilling oversight, and QA/QC activities to ensure accuracy and safety of field programs.\nApply geotechnical design software and numerical modelling tools to evaluate soil-structure interaction and optimize project outcomes.\nContribute to sustainable design approaches that reduce environmental impact and improve long-term resilience.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nSeveral years of hands-on geotechnical engineering experience supporting transportation, municipal, or site development projects.\nA degree in Geological, Geotechnical, or Civil Engineering, and progression toward (or attainment of) a P.Eng. designation in Ontario.\nComfortable conducting field work, geotechnical investigations, and construction-phase reviews.\nProficient with tools such as SLOPE/W, Settle3, PLAXIS, or equivalent geotechnical modelling software.\nMotivated by delivering practical engineering solutions that strengthen communities.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
