You’ll work alongside experienced specialists in a collaborative, science-driven environment-building a strong technical foundation while contributing to innovation in materials engineering, including the growing application of data-driven and AI-enabled approaches.\nYour Impact\nSupport materials engineering consulting for new construction, condition assessments, and rehabilitation of concrete and pavement infrastructure.\nPerform fieldwork, site reviews, and laboratory testing of concrete and aggregates in accordance with CSA and ASTM standards.\nAssist with concrete and pavement mix design, review, optimization, and durability or service-life assessments using analytical and data-driven methods.\nContribute to the development of specifications, technical documentation, and contract administration activities.\nPrepare technical reports and proposals under the guidance of senior engineers.\nSupport structural repair, rehabilitation design, non-destructive evaluation, and innovation initiatives related to advanced materials and digital technologies.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.\n3-5 years of experience in materials engineering, construction materials, or a related field.\nExposure to, or strong interest in, AI applications, data analytics, or digital tools in concrete technology, materials performance, or infrastructure assessment.\nEligibility for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).\nStrong analytical thinking, technical writing, and communication skills, with the ability to apply emerging technologies to practical engineering challenges.\nWillingness to travel to project sites and work in varied environmental conditions; a valid BC Driver’s License is required.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
