This is an opportunity to contribute to long-term programs across multiple clients and project stages while helping shape a growing Northern Ontario team.\n#CASudburyMiningJobs#GlobalMining\nYour Impact\nDeliver structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, foundations, platforms, equipment supports, and industrial building systems.\n\nProduce calculations, technical notes, specifications, reports, design markups, and coordinated drawing packages.\n\nSupport condition assessments, field investigations, site measurements, and renovation or brownfield designs that respond to operating realities.\n\nCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, geotechnical, and drafting teams to integrate structural requirements into practical solutions.\n\nRespond to requests for information, review shop drawings, and provide construction support under senior guidance while applying codes, client standards, and WSP quality procedures.\n\nManage assigned scope, budget, and schedule; raise risks and design decisions early; and guide Engineers-in-Training and designers on defined tasks.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nA bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.\n\nProfessional Engineer registration in Ontario, or progress toward registration appropriate to your experience.\n\nRelevant structural design experience, preferably in mining, industrial, infrastructure, or complex building environments.\n\nWorking knowledge of Canadian steel, concrete, and foundation design requirements.\n\nExperience preparing calculations, coordinating drawing deliverables, completing self-checks, and supporting peer reviews.\n\nStrong problem-solving, organization, technical writing, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across disciplines.\n\nWillingness to visit active industrial or mine sites and work collaboratively with field teams.\n\nExposure to structural analysis software, 3D coordination, industrial drafting workflows, brownfield modifications, existing structure assessments, or construction administration is preferred.\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
