This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills, and learn alongside our team of professionals.\nYour Impact\nYou’ll contribute to meaningful water and wastewater projects while building practical engineering experience. Your responsibilities will include:\nCoordinate sampling programs for wastewater systems in BC coastal Indigenous communities.\nSupport the analysis and design of water treatment projects, including process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specifications, process modelling, mass balances, hydraulic analysis, and 3D layouts.\nAssist with the preparation of technical reports, proposals, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings.\nCoordinate with vendors and other project stakeholders.\nCollaborate with a diverse team and build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.\nParticipate in occasional on-site sampling and laboratory testing.\nWork in a hybrid environment, balancing time between remote and office-based work.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nCurrently enrolled in a Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering degree program.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nKnowledge of water and wastewater treatment terminology and technologies is considered an asset.\nKnowledge of water chemistry is an asset.\nA valid driver’s licence is preferred.\nYou’re curious, collaborative, organized, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the water treatment industry.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
