As a Junior CAD Technician, you will collaborate with experienced engineers, designers, and project teams to support projects from concept through construction, contributing to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal infrastructure developments that shape the places where people live, work, and connect.\nYour Impact\nCreate high-quality engineering drawings and design deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D across a variety of land development and municipal infrastructure projects.\nSupport project teams through all phases of project delivery, from conceptual design through detailed design and construction documentation.\nAssist in the development of subdivision layouts, roadway designs, grading plans, and municipal servicing projects.\nContribute to earthworks modelling and design solutions that support sustainable and efficient community development.\nApply drafting standards and quality procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and project excellence.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to solve technical challenges and deliver client-focused outcomes.\nSupport the successful delivery of projects that enhance transportation networks, municipal services, and community infrastructure.\nBuild your technical expertise and professional development within a team committed to mentorship and continuous learning.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Drafting, or a related discipline.\n0 to 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design within engineering or infrastructure environments.\nDemonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nExperience supporting land development, municipal infrastructure, or roadway projects is considered an asset.\nField experience supporting engineering or construction projects is considered an asset.\nEligibility for registration, or registration in good standing, with ASET.\nStrong understanding of engineering drafting principles, standards, and quality requirements.\nAbility to manage priorities effectively while working independently and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
