We are WSP.\nThe Opportunity\nAs an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer in our GTA West Group, you will support and supervise geotechnical investigations and contribute to engineering projects that shape the future of infrastructure across Ontario. Working closely with intermediate and senior engineers, you will help deliver high-quality technical work, gain hands-on experience across a range of project types, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, innovative solutions for public and private sector clients.\nYour Impact\nSupervise geotechnical investigations including test pitting, borehole drilling, and in-situ testing\nSupport the coordination of geotechnical investigation and laboratory testing\nComplete geotechnical analyses such as bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability under the guidance of intermediate and senior engineers\nProvide technical support on geotechnical projects, including field investigations, interpretation of laboratory test results, and geotechnical design and analysis\nAssist senior team members in preparing geotechnical studies, proposals, and engineering reports for projects of low to medium complexity\nParticipate in and promote a safety-first culture\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s considered an asset)\n1-3 years of relevant post-degree experience in geotechnical consulting\nEligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO\nSense of initiative, attention to detail, and team spirit\nStrong technical writing skills, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence\nCommitment to safe work practices for yourself and your colleagues\nWillingness to work outside the office and on project sites as required\nValid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
