This position offers the opportunity to work closely with technical specialists, engineers, and project teams to deliver innovative solutions that create value for our clients and projects.\n Develop and maintain Python-based tools, workflows, and applications that support mine water and hydrogeological projects.\n\nSupport cloud-based deployment and operation of digital solutions using Microsoft Azure.\n\nWork closely with technical specialists to identify opportunities for digital innovation and process improvement.\n\nSupport the delivery of digital solutions that improve project efficiency, data quality, and decision-making for clients.\n\nDesirable\nUnderstanding of hydrology, hydrogeology, mine water management, or water resources engineering concepts.\nExposure to geospatial and environmental datasets, including groundwater, surface water, climate, or monitoring data.\nExperience supporting scientific, environmental, or engineering projects through data analytics, visualization, automation, or digital solution development.\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.\n\nEquivalent industry experience will also be considered.\n\nKey Requirements\n3-5+ years of experience in software development, Python programming, data analytics, or cloud-based application development.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and cloud deployment technologies.\n\nExperience with GitHub, version control, and collaborative software development practices.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining production-grade Python applications and data workflows.\n\nUnderstanding of data visualization, automation, and reporting solutions.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including hydrogeologists, water engineers, environmental scientists, and mining specialists.\n\nA proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.\n\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\n\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
