Due to continued growth, we are seeking Trainee, Junior and Intermediate Geotechnical Laboratory Technicians to join our expanding NATA-accredited laboratory network.\nAs a Trainee Laboratory Technician you'll:\nSafely retrieve, prepare and test samples including soil, rock, aggregate and concrete\nUndertake routine laboratory testing under supervision in line with relevant standards and ISO 17025 requirements\nOperate and assist with maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment\nSupport logistics including sample handling, storage, shipping and disposal\nWork collaboratively with engineers, scientists and laboratory teams to meet project deadlines\nParticipate in site visits and project-specific rosters as required\nMaintain accurate records including timesheets and expenses\nActively contribute to a strong health, safety and environmental culture\nWhat you'll bring:\nStrong attention to detail with good time management skills\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nBasic mathematics and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)\nEnthusiastic, organised and keen to learn\nCompleted high school mathematics (essential)\nCertificate III in Laboratory Techniques is advantageous but not required\nAbility to obtain a White Card and undertake first aid training\nHold a valid Australian driver’s license\nWhy WSP?\nImagine a better future for you, and for us all.\nJoining WSP means becoming part of a global team of over 73,000 people, united by a shared passion for making a positive impact.
