You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams as they plan and deliver water, wastewater, drainage, transportation, and land development projects that bring resilient, people-centered communities to life across Manitoba.\nIf you thrive delivering meaningful work, building trusted client partnerships, and driving both technical and business excellence, this role is for you.\nYour Impact\nLead planning, design, modelling, and execution of municipal servicing and land development projects for public- and private-sector clients.\nManage multidisciplinary project teams through all stages-from concept and feasibility to detailed design and construction support.\nBuild and deepen client relationships, acting as a key technical advisor throughout the full project lifecycle.\nGuide project approvals by collaborating with municipal authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies.\nOversee project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and quality to ensure predictable, successful delivery.\nConduct site reviews, coordinate with contractors, and provide construction-phase engineering input.\nMentor intermediate and junior engineers and technologists, contributing to a strong, collaborative Manitoba team.\nSupport proposal development, fee estimates, scope definition, and pursuit strategy to drive growth in the region.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\n8+ years of progressive experience in land development and municipal infrastructure engineering.\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and active P.Eng. registration (or eligibility) in Manitoba.\nProven success managing complex land development or municipal servicing projects.\nStrong knowledge of Manitoba municipal processes, approval pathways, and servicing standards.\nTechnical experience in water, sanitary, stormwater, roadway, and site-servicing design.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing client expectations.\nPMP certification is considered an asset.\nValid Class 5 driver’s licence and ability to support construction-phase activities.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.\nProudly Canadian - We are a Top 100 Employer in Canada for 2026.\nA global community of brilliant minds - your next idea, mentor, or opportunity is always within reach.\nLimitless opportunities - tailor your role to match your ambition; your growth drives ours.\nFlexible work, real balance - we encourage balance in all aspects of life.\nCompensation\nAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000\nMB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800\nNB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900\nDisclosure:\nThe final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
