As a Lead Conveyance Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on complex municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance projects while guiding multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery. This is an opportunity to influence critical infrastructure investments, mentor future engineering talent, and strengthen client partnerships within a growing Water & Wastewater Conveyance practice.\nYour Impact\nLead the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects.\nOversee the development of engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.\nGuide multidisciplinary teams across structural, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.\nChampion innovative and practical approaches to solving complex engineering challenges while maintaining quality, safety, and project objectives.\nSupport construction activities through technical reviews, site visits, contractor coordination, and field services.\nMentor and develop engineers, designers, and technical professionals through technical leadership and quality reviews.\nDrive successful project outcomes by supporting scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource planning activities.\nStrengthen client relationships and contribute to business development, proposals, and strategic growth opportunities within the conveyance practice.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.\n10+ years of experience delivering municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater infrastructure projects.\nStrong expertise in the planning, design, and delivery of watermains, pipelines, trunk sewers, forcemains, pump stations, and related conveyance infrastructure.\nDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and delivering complex infrastructure programs.\nProven ability to prepare and review design reports, contract drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.\nExperience supporting Municipal Class Environmental Assessments, environmental approvals, and trenchless infrastructure solutions.\nStrong communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring technical teams and building long-term client relationships.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
