Our vision is to be the preeminent pure-play global consulting firm for the world’s energy transition-and we need your help. \nYour Impact\nPerform testing and commissioning of Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations\nPerform on-site hands-on protective relay testing using relay test sets such as Omicron CMC 256/356 or Doble F6150. Examples of relays to be tested are SEL-311L, SEL-387, SEL-487, SEL-421, SEL-351S, GE L90, GE D60 among others\nIndependently execute and validate advanced protection and control testing sequences, ensuring alignment with test plans, applicable standards, and client specifications\nFollow safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings and job hazard assessments\nUse field forms, digital data tools, and mobile applications to document site activities\nPerform equipment cleaning, inventory control, and calibration as directed\nAct as a primary field liaison with clients, contractors, vendors, and project managers to communicate progress, risks, and technical concerns\nApply expert knowledge of field instrumentation and troubleshoot technical issues with minimal Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures\nPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needs \nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 11 years of experience in the electrical testing industry, including experience in medium and high voltage circuit breakers, power transformers, instrument transformers, and substation protection and controls testing\nDemonstrable expertise on transmission, generation, or distribution relays (SEL, Basler, Beckwith, and GE families) and protective schemes\nAdvanced technical skills related to protective relays, including relay calibration utilizing test sets/measuring devices such as Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150, control scheme testing, testing of the sensing CT/PT circuits, ability to upload settings to microprocessor relays, and static & dynamic testing of microprocessor-based protective relays\nProven experience with electrical field testing standards, practices, and procedures, such as NETA, IEEE, and NFPA applicable standards\nExpert knowledge of testing electrical distribution, generation, and transmission projects with voltage levels ranging from 15 kV to 500 kV, including protective relays and circuit breakers\nStrong understanding of technical software used for testing purposes and data review: ProTesT, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, and AcSELerator Quickset\nDemonstrable ability to identify and respond to field challenges and equipment malfunctions\nAdvanced skill in preparing field logs, sketches, and digital reports\nPhysical stamina to work in outdoor and physically demanding conditions.\nSignificant experience collaborating with contractors, technicians, and engineers\nDemonstrated commitment to field safety, quality, and regulatory compliance\nStrong verbal and written communication skills for field team collaboration\nCapability to support a wide variety of tasks in dynamic or changing environments\nAbility to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and maintain accountability in the field\nCommitment to continued learning and development in technical field services\nUnderstanding of
