To find out more about our L&ES business click on the following link and discover what awaits you at WSP: Lighting and Energy Solutions | WSP\nTo meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for a Lighting Engineer to join our Lighting & Energy Solutions team.\nA little more about your role…\nLiaison with colleagues within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider multi-disciplinary design teams, stakeholders and clients.\nProduction of detailed design layouts, engineering detailed drawings and support documentation in accordance with WSPs Quality Assurance and client requirements.\nSupport with the preparation of feasibility reports and technical notes, optioneering reports and specifications.\nEngagement with luminaire, column, controls and electrical manufacturers\nCo-ordination with contractors including site support, responding to RFI’s and TQ’s.\nCompletion of non-intrusive site visits to support the development of lighting assessments and site clearance drawings.\nSupport with the development of project proposals and progress against agreed programme milestones and budget constraints.\nAssist with the engagement of Local Authority and Strategic Road Network clients building strong working relationships.\nSupport Early Career Professionals on their career journeys\nRepresent WSP within the lighting industry, fostering industry relationships and driving business development.\nYour team…\nYou will be joining a growing, multi-disciplinary, energetic team of lighting professionals that is highly regarded within the industry, which includes the following specialisms: Electrical and EV, Environmental, Local Government, Architectural and the Strategic Road Network. \nYou will be part of a global network of lighting specialists and experts.\nYou will have the opportunity to join or maintain a professional membership.
