Come join us and help shape the future!\nYour Impact\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nCoordinate with technical staff, consultants, contractors and other agencies to expedite the completion of construction projects for highways, bridges, ramps and/or pedestrian infrastructure projects that meets current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.\nCoordinate the field inspections for one or more projects including assigning and reviewing the work, training, evaluating work performance and providing technical guidance.\nReviews and evaluates construction schedules and coordinate adjustments to problems arising during construction.\nSchedules pre-construction and progress meetings.\nCoordinate with stakeholders for solutions to problems arising during construction.\nUtilizes computer and business software packages to prepare correspondence relating to projects, manage project workflow and maintain project records.\nPerforms related work as required.\nWork effectively with others.\nUnderstand and follow instructions.\nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n1-3 years of experience in construction management/inspection of highway, bridge, ramp and/or pedestrian infrastructure projects that meets current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.\nKnowledge of construction methods, scheduling and materials.\nKnowledge of inspection methods.\nAbility to deal effectively with contractors, engineers, architects and representatives of utility and government agencies.\nSupervisory ability.\nWorking knowledge of state and federal safety, environment guidelines and regulations.\nWorking skill in operating computer equipment, software programs and field inspection equipment; read and interpret roadway plans and contract specifications; maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with agency, contractor personnel and the public.\nDependable transportation is required.\nKnowledge of field inspection equipment; ability to read and interpret roadway plans and contract specifications; and maintain detailed records.\nValid driver’s license.\nProficient in Math and English.\nExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures\nProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in Baltimore City \nWSP Benefits: \nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
