In this role, you’ll support the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary heavy industrial and mining projects from concept to completion. You’ll collaborate with an expert team to meet client objectives and solve real-world challenges across the Resources sector.\nYour Impact\nDrive project resourcing and budget management to maintain profitable and predictable project performance.\nCoordinate engineering deliverables across all disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.\nOversee man-loading planning to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules and cost control reports, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.\nManage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maintain scope alignment.\nImplement and reinforce HSE and quality procedures throughout all project phases.\nRepresent WSP confidently in meetings and presentations, providing clear, timely updates to clients and stakeholders.\nRespond promptly and professionally to all matters related to project scope, risks, and execution.\nCapture lessons learned from past and current projects to promote continuous improvement.\nLead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and project scoping.\nTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support successful project delivery.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nPost-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering.\n7+ years of experience in consulting, focused on mining and/or heavy industrial projects.\nMinimum 3 years of project management experience overseeing multidisciplinary project teams.\nDesignation as EIT, CET or P.Eng in BC desired.\nHighly self-motivated, with a desire to grow and take on new challenges.\nStrong ability to engage confidently with clients in a multi-disciplinary environment.\nValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
