The successful candidate will work directly with clients, design teams, contractors and WSP leadership and will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, procurement, project documentation and overall project delivery.\nThe position is intended for an experienced project manager who can independently manage assignments while also contributing to larger transportation and facilities programs.\nYour Impact\nProvide day-to-day project management for public-sector transportation and facility projects.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables and financial performance.\nLead and support preconstruction and procurement activities.\nCoordinate preparation and review of bid packages, including Division 00 and Division 01 requirements.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary design teams and review documents for completeness, coordination, constructability and bid readiness.\nSupport procurement and bidding activities, including bidder questions, addenda, bid evaluations and client coordination.\nProvide construction-phase project management and construction administration.\nCoordinate RFIs, submittals, change management, meetings, action items and project documentation.\nWork directly with owners, contractors, consultants and internal WSP disciplines to identify and resolve project issues.\nMonitor project budgets, forecasts, schedules and overall delivery performance.\nSupport development of scopes of work, fee proposals and future project opportunities.\nAssist with continued growth and delivery of WSP's Transportation Facilities work throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic.\nWho You Are\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n7+ years of relevant project management, construction management, design management or preconstruction experience.\nExperience delivering building, facility, infrastructure or transportation-related projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule and budget.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary design and/or construction teams.\nExperience with construction documents, procurement/bidding and construction-phase administration.\nAbility to independently manage project assignments and multiple priorities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work directly with clients, consultants and contractors.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with public-sector transportation facilities, transit, aviation, bus, rail or other public infrastructure facilities.\nExperience working with PennDOT or other state, transit or municipal transportation agencies.\nExperience developing or administering public-sector procurement and bid packages.\nWorking knowledge of Division 00 and Division 01 procurement and general requirements.\nExperience with project financial management, forecasting and change management. \nExperience developing proposals, scopes and fees.\nPE, RA, CCM, PMP or similar professional credential preferred, but not
