You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.\nA little more about your role...\nWe have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Road Safety professional, to join WSP's Liveable Places team and support a varied project pipeline across our London and the South-East regions. The role is based in our London office (Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf), with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office, site, and home working.\nAs a Road Safety Auditor / PM with WSP, your role will include:\nUndertaking Road Safety Audits\nWorking on Vision Zero / Road Safety projects - including analysis of collision data, designing road safety schemes, and helping deliver strategies & action plans based on the Safe System approach\nProject Management responsibilities - including management of project finances, programme and deliverables.\nPreparing reports, sketches, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance. \nSupporting a wide range of projects suited to your skills and experience.\nWork collaboratively with the Liveable Places team and the wider WSP business to achieve our aims and objectives \nAbout the Liveable Places Team\nLiveable Places work with a wide range of local authority clients from across the UK to help them achieve their place-making ambitions. We deliver a wide range of schemes from concept to delivery that include public realm, traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian / traffic modelling, active travel, and parking. We have had recent key successes with Gloucestershire County Council, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, West Berkshire Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, West of England Combined Authorities, Devon County Council, National Highways, Westminster City Council and many, many more.\nThe Liveable Places team is based in offices across the country with over 200 staff currently making up the team, with further growth planned. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop in your career through exposure to a wide variety of experiences.\nWe have a strong track record working closely with our clients and this role provides a great opportunity to have a pivotal role within Liveable Places and help support and steer its growth going forward.\nWhat We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…\nYou will be a qualified Road Safety Auditor, in accordance with DMRB GG 119. \nYou have experience in Road Safety, how to mitigate issues, and analyse collision data. \nYou will understand Vision Zero and the Safe System approach. \nExperience in managing projects (including financial aspects of projects) and mentoring more junior colleagues. \nExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and ensure our service levels are maintained. \nAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. \nAbility to work collaboratively with WSP colleagues and clients.\nDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
