We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.\nKey responsibilities - What you’ll do\nLighting Design: Calculates uniform illuminance and luminance levels to remove dark spots and improve night driving safety.\n\nElectrical & Control Systems: Designs power distribution, feeder pillars, control cabinets with photocells/timers, and circuit layouts (such as alternating A/B circuits).\n\nCivil & Structural Layout: Plans pole foundations, conduit runs, pit/pull-box placements, and trenching relative to kerbs and utility lines.\n\n Standards & Compliance: Ensures designs meet local road authority rules (such as Department of Transport and Main Roads [DTMR] or energy distributor specs like Ergon and Energex in Queensland).\nAt WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects and connect with the brightest minds in your field to do the best work of your life.
