We are seeking a Senior Associate to Principal-level Project Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.\nAbout the role\nAs the Senior Associate to Principal-level Project Manager you’ll ensure excellence in project delivery, foster strong stakeholder engagement, and champion sustainability. This is your opportunity to lead diverse projects, mentor talented professionals, and deliver innovative solutions that make a meaningful impact on both communities and the environment.\nYou will:\nLead and inspire a team of construction and engineering specialists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.\nManage the full project lifecycle for design and construction (D&C) projects, with a focus on ground engineering, contaminated land, and geo-environmental solutions.\nOversee project delivery, ensuring outcomes are on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.\nDrive project performance by managing schedules, costs, risks, revenue, and contract variations, while maintaining robust financial controls and reporting.\nEngage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, statutory authorities, consultants, sub-contractors, and end-users, to ensure positive and productive relationships.\nSupport business development by promoting WSP’s capabilities, contributing to proposals, and identifying new opportunities.\nChampion WSP’s commitment to health, safety, environment, and sustainability, ensuring all project activities align with best practices and regulatory requirements.\nMentor and develop junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and supporting their professional growth.\nContribute to change management initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in geotechnical engineering or tailings management are highly regarded.\nProfessional project management experience, ideally with PMP certification.\nProven track record managing multidisciplinary projects in construction or civil infrastructure.\nStrong financial acumen, with experience in forecasting, estimating, and cost management.\nProficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred).\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\nCommitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
