You will work across the Civil business, alongside a wide range of other disciplines across a diverse range of exciting civil infrastructure projects.\nYour role will be at the heart of our award-winning digital project delivery team, using your specialist skills and expertise to help us continually improve the management, productivity, and quality of our BIM deliverables through the expanded use of advanced digital workflows and cutting-edge technologies.\nThe role will be attractive to talented and digitally enthusiastic professionals who want to find a home that will develop their career through combining exciting project experience with strategic training, education, mentorship initiatives and having access to the best technologies in the industry.\nWhat will you be doing?\nProvide advanced specialist support for planning, mobilisation and production of Civil structure BIM models, data, and documents using Autodesk Revit and associated technologies\nSupport project management and project digital/BIM leads with the development and enforcement of digital delivery standards, methods and procedures including alignment to WSP UK Civil Information Management Framework\nUphold WSP’s commitment to quality, future ready, and providing value-add across projects\nImplement WSP UK Civil’s ‘model first’ principles across relevant projects\nCreation, modification and deployment of Revit templates and configurations to meet project requirements\nCreation and management of re-usable BIM component to support consistent and smarter parametric modelling \nClosely collaborate with digital leads, computational engineers, surveyors and other discipline specialists to develop streamlined digital workflows using existing and emerging technologies \nBe a key member of Civil working groups to develop smarter and more efficient ways of working\nImplement and maintain BIM model validation and quality control processes \nPerform regular audits and distribute lessons learned and best practice \nUse skills to build or co-develop automations with our in-house application developers in-line with WSP UK Civil Automation Framework\nUse skills to make better use of BIM data across projects\nSupport digital/BIM leads provision digital training \nWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrate…\nExperience delivering BIM on large infrastructure projects\nProven ability to coordinate others to meet project goals and objectives\nSolid knowledge of civil and structural design engineering and principles\nMust have strong proficiency in the advanced use, set-up and configuration of Autodesk Revit\nDemonstrable examples of utilising a breadth of Revit functionality and productivity add-ins \nStrong experience in the use of Revit within CDEs such as ACC/Forma and Bentley ProjectWise\nPractical knowledge of technologies such as Navisworks, Rhino + Grasshopper and Dynamo\nGood experience with model data production and management\nProven digital capability to work with others and develop smarter and more efficient ways of working\nCapability and enthusiasm to expand existing skillset with coding and data-analytics\nCivil engineering degree or similar\nChartered or working towards engineering chartership \nProven professional continual development in your career\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
