Based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, this role sits within our growing Digital team and will work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning advisory, design, and delivery. This position is for a strong all-rounder who can operate independently across consulting, business analysis and software delivery.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead discovery, analysis, and requirements activities across complex digital and technology-enabled initiatives. Partnering closely with clients, stakeholders, architects, developers and designers, you'll help shape digital solutions that are practical, scalable and aligned to business objectives.\nYou'll play a key role in:\nLeading discovery workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and requirements gathering sessions.\nTranslating business challenges and user needs into actionable solution requirements.\nDeveloping business cases, future-state processes, service experiences and operating models.\nAnalysing systems, integrations, APIs, data flows and business rules to support solution design.\nProducing high-quality business analysis artefacts including process maps, user journeys, requirements specifications and service blueprints.\nSupporting agile delivery through prioritisation, backlog management and scope definition.\nApplying AI-enabled tools and approaches to improve analysis, documentation and delivery outcomes.\nBuilding trusted client relationships and contributing to business development, proposals and work-winning activities.\nHelping strengthen capability across the Digital practice through mentoring, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbout You\nYou'll bring a strong consulting mindset coupled with deep business analysis expertise and a passion for using technology to solve complex business problems.\nMust have:\nStrong senior BA experience in software development environments, not just process or business transformation.\nProven ability to lead discovery workshops, clarify ambiguous problems and challenge stakeholder assumptions.\nStrong client-facing consulting skills - able to build credibility quickly, make recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.\nTechnically fluent enough to work closely with developers and architects across APIs, integrations, data flows, system behaviour, security and non-functional requirements.\nDemonstrated ownership and initiative - willing to step beyond traditional BA boundaries to drive an outcome.\nComfortable supporting or leading smaller engagements across scope, risks, dependencies, backlog, delivery planning and stakeholder communication.\nStrong written and verbal communication, including the ability to give concise executive-level recommendations, not just detailed analysis.\nPractical, current use of AI to accelerate analysis and delivery, while understanding validation, privacy and governance.\nStrongly preferred:\nPrevious software engineering, technical delivery or solution-analysis background.\nConsulting/professional-services experience across multiple clients or domains.\nExperience leading discovery through to implementation, not just requirements handover.\nAbility to coach or guide junior BAs.\nWhat You'll Bring\nWe're looking for someone who:\nBuilds trusted relationships and influences outcomes through collaboration and communication.\nCombines strategic thinking with pragmatism and attention to detail.\nIs comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems.\nChallenges assumptions constructively to achieve better outcomes for clients and users.\nBrings authenticity, empathy and strong stakeholder management skills.\nActs with integrity and a commitment to excellence.\nAt WSP, you'll be part of a global professional services firm that thrives on curiosity, innovation and making a positive impact.
