In this role, you’ll help deliver impactful industrial civil engineering projects-from conceptual design to construction-while collaborating with a tight-knit team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. A place where career-growing opportunities meet affordable living, vibrant culture, and endless outdoor adventure in a thriving regional hub -offering professionals the rare chance to build a meaningful future without sacrificing quality of life.\nYour Impact\nDesign site plans including grading, earthworks, water distribution, site services, access roads, stormwater and wastewater systems.\nDevelop, verify, and finalize technical deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, engineering calculations).\nReview and verify the technical quality, accuracy, and compliance of project deliverables.\nConduct site reviews and provide construction-phase technical support.\nPrepare permit applications and supporting documentation.\nContribute to proposal development, including fee estimates and technical inputs.\nSupport project management activities to help ensure schedules and budgets are met.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.\nPerform other duties as assigned in support of project and client needs.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nSenior experience of civil design and site planning experience in a consulting engineering environment.\n Experience in heavy industrial or mining-sector projects (asset).\nIn-depth knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.\nMust hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario or in any Canadian province (mandatory).\nEligible for federal security clearance.\nProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with Visual OTTHYMO, Pix4D, or Revit is an asset.\nAbility to adapt to changing project priorities and collaborate across disciplines.\nValid G-class driver’s licence.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
