As a Senior Cloud Network Architect; you will shape, standardize, and deliver secure, scalable Azure networking solutions across Canada. This position combines architectural leadership with hands-on DevOps execution-empowering you to define enterprise guardrails while building reusable, production-ready network platforms that drive innovation and reliability at scale.\nYour Impact\nDefine, document, and govern Azure networking reference architectures, standards, guardrails, and reusable patterns (segmentation, routing, DNS, private access, and network security).\nProvide architectural review and formal sign-off on Azure network designs, ensuring consistency, scalability, resiliency, and security alignment, including Zero Trust principles.\nArchitect and maintain global connectivity patterns and cloud connectivity services supporting enterprise and hybrid environments.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for cloud network provisioning and champion reusable modules for scalable, self-service networking.\nIntegrate network provisioning into CI/CD workflows, including state management, drift detection, and automated validation to enforce consistency.\nImplement automated baseline checks, compliance controls, configuration consistency, and telemetry pipelines for network services.\nImplement hub-spoke and Virtual WAN architectures across Azure regions, including private connectivity solutions (Private Endpoints, Private DNS, NSG/UDR patterns).\nEnable secure external and internal routing patterns using Azure Front Door and Azure Firewall technologies.\nTroubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid network issues across environments.\nEstablish monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and security telemetry using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.\nSupport incident response, runbooks, and change/release coordination for network and platform services.\nValidate resiliency, disaster recovery, and continuity plans through hands-on testing and operational readiness practices.\nDrive continuous improvement through automation and standardization, reducing lead times and improving reliability.\nCollaborate with Security, Identity, and Platform Architecture teams to evolve guardrails and enable secure delivery.\nMentor engineers and contribute to roadmap development for scalable, reusable network platform services.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n8-10+ years of hands-on network engineering and architecture experience.\nDeep expertise in Microsoft Azure networking, including segmentation, routing, DNS, private access, and network security.\nExpert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, VPN/IPSec, IPv4/IPv6, and enterprise-scale troubleshooting.\nStrong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automated network deployment pipelines.\nExtensive experience with DevOps automation and CI/CD best practices for infrastructure delivery.\nExperience participating in architecture governance and review forums.\nStrong written communication skills, including authoring architecture documents, ADRs, and technical standards.\nAbility to operate independently and collaborate across globally distributed teams.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.\nDemonstrated knowledge of information security practices in infrastructure delivery and operations.\nExperience ensuring compliance with enterprise-level information security requirements.\nExcellent written and spoken English.\nPreferred:\nExperience managing multi-region Azure environments with data residency considerations.\nExperience working with third-party vendor development teams.\nExposure to FinOps and cost-optimization in cloud automation.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
