In this Senior drafting support role, you’ll contribute to the development of infrastructure that supports growing communities while building your technical skills alongside experienced engineers and designers.\nYour Impact\nSupport the preparation of civil engineering drawings for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and utilities\nAssist in developing AutoCAD and Civil 3D models and drawings based on engineering direction\nContribute to the accuracy and quality of design deliverables through careful drafting and revisions\nUpdate drawing packages and maintain organized project documentation throughout the design process\nCollaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate feedback and refine designs\nSupport quantity take-offs and basic design tasks to aid project delivery\nLearn and apply municipal standards, regulations, and best practices in design work\nContribute to a team culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field\n10+ years of experience in drafting preferably in structural infrastructure\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D\nFamiliarity with basic civil design concepts such as grading, servicing, and roadworks\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality drawings\nEagerness to learn, grow, and develop technical skills in a supportive team environment\nAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams\nExposure to BC municipal standards or consulting environments is considered an asset\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
