As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on some of the most complex and innovative data center projects in the industry, supporting enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, AI, cloud, and high-performance computing (HPC) facilities. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, clients, and industry partners, you will deliver resilient, scalable, and energy-efficient electrical systems that power the technologies driving tomorrow's economy.\nYour Impact\nLead the planning, design, and delivery of electrical infrastructure for mission critical and data center facilities.\n\nDevelop innovative solutions for high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, switchgear, grounding, and power monitoring systems.\n\nGuide multidisciplinary project teams and provide mentorship to engineers and designers, promoting technical excellence and innovation.\n\nCollaborate with clients, utilities, contractors, commissioning agents, and technology partners to deliver successful project outcomes.\n\nPrepare and review basis-of-design reports, technical studies, calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.\n\nSupport commissioning activities, integrated systems testing (IST), operational readiness reviews, and construction administration services.\n\nStrengthen client relationships through trusted technical advice, responsive service, and successful project delivery.\n\nContribute to the continued growth of the Mission Critical & Data Centers practice through proposals, strategic pursuits, and industry engagement.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.\n\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.\n\n10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.\n\nExperience delivering mission critical facilities, data centers, utilities, healthcare, industrial, or other complex infrastructure projects.\n\nStrong expertise in critical power systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, switchgear, grounding, and power monitoring.\n\nProven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working directly with clients and project stakeholders.\n\nKnowledge of data center resiliency requirements, redundancy concepts, operational continuity, and critical facility design principles.\n\nExperience with commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), electrical master planning, utility coordination, or campus-scale infrastructure projects is considered an asset.\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
