Supervise and mentor Assistant Engineers/ Engineers in day-to-day activities.\n Design of low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources;\nOperation of AMTECH / Electrical OM software to produce design for low voltage systems including selection of cable types, protective devices and self-checking and presentation of results;\nDesign of general lighting systems;\nDesign of emergency lighting systems;\nGood working knowledge of different lighting types and sources (including LED types);\nOperation of industry standard lighting design software for the design of general and emergency lighting systems;\nDesign of cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits and the preparation of CMS sizing calculations and self-checking and presentation of results;\nPresentation of design onto schematic and 2D layout drawings;\nUse of Bentley Microstation and AECOsim to model in 3D MEP services including but not limited to Cable Management Systems, Pipework, Ductwork etc in 3D, including generating 2D sections from 3D models for incorporation into drawings;\nUnderstanding of BIM and working within a Common Data Environment, preferably Bentley projectwise;\nSupervise and verify the work performed by the designers/ modeller to meet the requirements of the project. \nInterpretation of client specification requirements written in English in the development of designs;\nOperation of Microsoft Office package, including Outlook, Word, Excel and powerpoint.\nGuide Assistant Engineers/ Engineers in day to day work for the development of electrical designs.\nExperience of electrical design in the Rail environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nThe applicant will have proven experience in the design of Railway infra projects with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record\nLeading and guiding the team, winning work, proactive approach to find the solutions to the problems.\nTaking care of H&S of self and team members.\nDesired Skills\nApplicants need to be able to demonstrate good management and technical skills and be capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by workload.\nHaving Professional membership and professional qualification (CEng) from the International professional institutions.\n Should have a degree in Electrical Engineer.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\n\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
