Supervise and mentor Assistant Engineers/ Engineers in day to day activities\n Design of low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources;\nOperation of AMTECH software to produce design for low voltage systems including selection of cable types, protective devices and self-checking and presentation of results;\nDesign of general lighting systems;\nDesign of emergency lighting systems;\nGood working knowledge of different lighting types and sources (including LED types);\nOperation of industry standard lighting design software for the design of general and emergency lighting systems;\nDesign of cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits and the preparation of CMS sizing calculations and self-checking and presentation of results;\nPresentation of design onto schematic and 2D layout drawings;\nUse of Bentley Microstation and AECOsim to model in 3D MEP services including but not limited to Cable Management Systems, Pipework, Ductwork etc. in 3D, including generating 2D sections from 3D models for incorporation into drawings;\nUnderstanding of BIM and working within a Common Data Environment, preferably Bentley projectwise;\nSupervise and verify the work performed by the designers/ modeller to meet the requirements of the project.\nInterpretation of client specification requirements written in English in the development of designs;\nOperation of Microsoft Office package, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nGuide Assistant Enginners/ Engineers in day to day work for the development of electrical designs.\n Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.\nExperience of 8-11 years of working with Electrical design.\nQualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with a Engineering Institution.\nQualifications in the requirements of BS7671, BS5266 etc. (e.g. City & Guilds Requirements for Electrical Installations (2382).\nExtensive experience of working within a rail station environment and good working knowledge of Network Rail, TfL & LUL standards.\nExperience of contributing to the electrical design on multidisciplinary projects and knowledge of rail design assurance processes.\nGood knowledge and understanding of the requirements necessary to develop and progress projects through the early stages of the lifecycle - LUL, GRIP and RIBA.\nCompetent in the production or modification of CAD drawings using an industry standard CAD system.\nExperience of electrical design in the Rail environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\n\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
