modelling.\nBuild conceptual and three-dimensional engineering geological models for tailings storage facilities and\nmining infrastructure.\nDelineate bedrock surfaces, weathering profiles, stratigraphic units, paleochannels, structural features\nand engineering geological domains.\nCreate and manage OpenGround Cloud projects, including data import, validation, standardization,\npermissions, outputs and integration with Leapfrog.\nPrepare geological database structures, data dictionaries, validation rules and QA/QC records to support\ntraceability and reliable model updates.\nInterpret drill core and borehole records, geological mapping, structural measurements, CPT data,\nlaboratory results and geophysical information.\nGenerate representative sections, surfaces, volumes and parameter domains for numerical modelling\nteams.\nWork with numerical modellers to confirm that geological geometry, material boundaries, parameter\nzones and structural controls are transferred correctly.\nUpdate models efficiently as new investigation or monitoring data become available and maintain clear\nversion control.\nComplete assigned work in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and health and\nsafety requirements.\nTailings Dam and Numerical Modelling Support\nProvide engineering geological input to tailings dam investigations, design assessments, reviews and\nclosure studies.\nDevelop ground models that support seepage, slope stability, deformation, liquefaction and foundation\nassessments.\nIdentify geological and structural conditions that may influence seepage pathways, foundation\nperformance, stability or deformation behaviour.\nSupport derivation and spatial assignment of material units and engineering parameters in collaboration\nwith geotechnical engineers.\nReview numerical model geometry against geological interpretations and document key assumptions,\nsimplifications and uncertainties.\nAssist with interpretation of modelling outcomes where geological conditions influence predicted\nperformance.\nProject Delivery and Collaboration\nWork as part of integrated Global Mining teams and coordinate inputs with tailings, geotechnical, mine\nengineering, hydrogeology, mine water and environmental disciplines.\nParticipate in technical reviews, model reviews, investigation planning, risk workshops and project\nmeetings.\nPrepare technical deliverables suitable for internal review and client issue.\nSupport proposals, scope development, task estimates and work planning for engineering geology\nassignments.\nProvide coaching and task-level review for graduate and junior geologists and engineering geologists.\nContribute to standard workflows, templates, model governance, lessons learned and capability\ndevelopment within GCC India.\n The Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Geology, Geological Engineering, Geology or a related\ndiscipline.\n8+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering geology, geological modelling or mining\ngeotechnical consulting.\nDemonstrated experience developing engineering geological or ground models using Leapfrog.\nExperience managing geological or geotechnical databases, preferably using OpenGround Cloud.\nExperience supporting tailings dam or mine infrastructure projects.\nStrong capability in structural geological interpretation and integration of multidisciplinary ground\ninvestigation data.\nUnderstanding of how engineering geological models support seepage, stability, deformation and\nliquefaction analyses.\nStrong data-management, QA/QC, analytical, technical writing and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.\nSoftware Skills\nLeapfrog Works and/or Leapfrog Geo\nOpenGround Cloud\nArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS\nAutoCAD\nMicrosoft Excel and Power BI\nFamiliarity with numerical modelling outputs from GeoStudio, FLAC, PLAXIS or Rocscience software is\ndesirable.\nSuccess in the Role\nSuccess will be demonstrated through reliable geological
