Team Leader and\nrelevant project leadership.\n The Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.\n8+ years of relevant experience in mine planning, mine design and/or production scheduling.\nStrong experience in open-pit and/or underground mining operations or consulting assignments.\nDemonstrated capability in strategic, tactical and operational mine planning.\nAdvanced working knowledge of Deswik for mine design and scheduling.\nUnderstanding of mine development, extraction sequencing, material movement, equipment\nproductivity and operational constraints.\nAbility to interpret geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, environmental and infrastructure inputs\nfor mine planning.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience supporting international mining projects and integrated global delivery teams.\nExperience contributing to scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, operational planning or\ntechnical due diligence.\nKnowledge of mine economics, scenario evaluation, budgeting and forecasting.\nExperience reviewing technical work and mentoring junior team members.\nSoftware Skills\nDeswik.CAD\nDeswik Scheduler\nDeswik.IS and/or Deswik.OPS, where relevant to the project scope\nAutoCAD or Civil 3D\nArcGIS or QGIS\nMicrosoft Excel and Power BI\nSuccess in the Role\nSuccess will be demonstrated through safe, accurate and timely mine planning deliverables; effective\nuse of Deswik; strong integration with global project teams; clear communication of assumptions and\nrisks; consistent technical quality; and active contribution to the development of GCC India’s Mine\nPlanning capability.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
