This role involves working on high-voltage transmission line projects, providing expert design solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.\n Design and analyze overhead transmission lines (11kV, 33kV to 400kV+) using PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, and other tools.\nOptimize line routing, structure spotting, and conductor selection for cost-effective solutions.\nDevelop and analyze self-supporting, guyed, and monopole transmission towers.\nPerform structural load analysis, foundation design, and stress calculations.\nAdvanced expertise in PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and related engineering tools.\nEnsure all designs comply with IEEE, IEC, ASCE, NESC, ANSI, and other international standards.\nConduct electrical clearance studies and load compliance reviews.\nConduct wind, ice, seismic, and load impact studies as per project locations.\nEnsure electrical and mechanical clearances align with safety requirements.\nSupport project teams by providing technical guidance, review of designs, and feasibility assessments.\nConduct field visits for topographic surveys, line inspections, and validation of design parameters.\nResolve site-specific technical challenges in collaboration with field teams.\nDevelop detailed design reports, drawings, and engineering documentation for project approvals.\nProvide technical recommendations and support tender preparation.\nStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve design efficiency.\nIdentify and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.\n Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.\nExperience: 15+ years of overhead transmission line design and tower analysis.\nSoftware Expertise: Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole or STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD.\nIndustry Knowledge: Strong understanding of transmission line engineering principles, materials, and construction practices.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent ability to collaborate with clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities.\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
