Based in Nanaimo, you’ll leverage national expertise and local insight to deliver critical geotechnical solutions while collaborating with government, First Nations partners, and resource sectors.\nYour Impact\nLead and deliver geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through to design and construction support\nPrepare technical studies and reports with clear, actionable recommendations\nCollaborate across disciplines to support infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, dams, and buildings\nShare expertise across regions to strengthen technical excellence and innovation\nManage geotechnical investigation programs, including subcontractor coordination and tendering support\nEvaluate complex geotechnical challenges such as settlement, slope stability, liquefaction, and frost effects\nOversee field programs including drilling, in-situ testing, and construction monitoring\nContribute to successful project delivery aligned with quality, schedule, and budget targets\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nDegree in Civil or Geological Engineering with a geotechnical focus\nRegistered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC\nMinimum 10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience\nStrong proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, Rocscience)\nProven experience managing investigation programs and multidisciplinary projects\nDemonstrated ability to interpret complex subsurface conditions and risks\nStrong understanding of field practices and construction methods\nTrack record of delivering projects on time and within budget\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
