We pride ourselves on the longevity of this contract, and the close working relationship we have developed over the last 23 years.\nWSP work collaboratively as part of the Shropshire Alliance alongside Shropshire Council and Kier. We deliver a broad range of exciting projects, providing new and varied opportunities on this contract and within the wider WSP business.\nAs a Senior Drainage Engineer you will work as part of our multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex drainage schemes from conception through to delivery. You will take a lead on feasibility studies, detailed design and investigations.\nThe role is based from our WSP Shrewsbury office, with flexible working allowing for a mix of in-office and home working. There is also the potential for the role to be based in Birmingham, with travel to Shropshire required on a regular basis.\nThis is a varied role with responsibilities including:\nIndependently deliver complex drainage schemes from conception through to delivery.\nInvestigation, data collection and analysis.\nFeasibility studies, designs and reports.\nDevelopment of funding applications on behalf of the Client.\nPreliminary and detailed drainage design, compliant with DMRB, Local Design Specifications, Sewage Sector Guidance, CDM2015 and BIM.\nContract administration.\nConstruction supervision.\nResponsible for the health, safety and welfare of you and team members. \nWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrate…\nExperience of leading on drainage design projects within the highways or related sectors. \nFamiliarity with DMRB, Local Design Specifications, Sewage Sector Guidance and CDM2015.\nCommitment to health, safety and welfare of yourself and team members. \nCompetent using Civil 3D/AutoCAD, Causeway Flow and Microsoft Office.\nCommitment to working collaboratively and with a client focus.\nDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
