Make the most of our global reach to discover new challenges and chances to work with diverse, talented individuals who will help you expand your horizons.\nRole Purpose\nThe Senior Learning & Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the UK, Ireland & Africa Learning & Development strategy through the design, implementation and continuous improvement of learning and talent solutions.\nThe role combines learning design, digital curation, programme implementation, capability development and project delivery to ensure employees have access to high-quality, engaging and impactful learning experiences.\nReporting to the Senior Learning & Development Manager, the role acts as a senior specialist within the regional L&D team. The role holder will lead activity within their areas of expertise and influence stakeholders across the business, whilst working within the strategic direction, priorities and governance established by the Senior Learning & Development Manager and Head of Learning & Development.\nThis is a key role in enabling delivery, adoption and continuous improvement. It is intended to operate with autonomy and credibility, but in support of the Senior Learning & Development Manager and Head of Learning & Development rather than carrying sole accountability for regional L&D strategy, investment decisions, prioritisation or overall function performance.\nThe role supports a broad range of L&D activity, including digital learning design and curation, implementation of learning and talent programmes, employee lifecycle learning, regional projects, leadership and capability development initiatives, and the deployment of mandatory and compliance learning across the region.\nKey Accountabilities\n1. Learning Design, Delivery & Digital Curation\nDesign, curate and deliver engaging learning solutions across digital, virtual, face-to-face and blended formats.\nCreate learning pathways, resources and development journeys that support career growth, capability development and business priorities.\nAdapt global learning content for local relevance and application.\nFacilitate learning interventions and development programmes where required.\nPromote self-directed learning and increase adoption of digital learning resources across the region.\n2. Programme Implementation & Regional Delivery\nSupport and coordinate the rollout of regional and global learning, Learning and Development programmes.\nTranslate learning strategies and programme requirements into practical delivery plans, with guidance and governance from the Senior Learning & Development Manager.\nContribute to the successful delivery of regional L&D projects and strategic initiatives.\nCoordinate with HR, business stakeholders and Global Learning Operations to support effective implementation and learner engagement.\nIdentify delivery risks, dependencies and implementation challenges, escalating where appropriate and recommending practical solutions.\n3. Compliance & Mandatory Learning\nAct as the regional subject matter lead for compliance and mandatory learning deployment.\nSupport the implementation of compliance learning campaigns and mandatory learning requirements across the region.\nMonitor completion data and learning adoption, highlighting risks and recommending actions to the Senior Learning & Development Manager and relevant stakeholders.\nPartner with operational leaders, HR and Global Learning Operations to improve compliance performance and learner engagement.\nProvide reporting and insight on compliance learning activity across the region.\n4. Learning Technology & Learner Experience\nAct as a regional learning technology specialist and key point of contact for learning platforms and digital resources.\nPartner with Global Learning Operations to improve learner experience, digital adoption, reporting capability and learning effectiveness.\nUse learning data and feedback to continuously enhance learning pathways and digital content.\nChampion best practice in digital learning, accessibility and modern learning approaches.\n5. Capability & Talent Development\nWork with the regional L&D team and HR colleagues to identify capability needs and development priorities.\nSupport learning initiatives linked to onboarding, career development, performance development, leadership development and talent programmes.\nContribute expertise and recommendations that help shape effective learning and development solutions.\nSupport talent and succession development activities led by senior members of the L&D team.\n6. Measurement & Continuous Improvement\nEvaluate learning effectiveness through data, feedback and stakeholder insight.\nAnalyse learning trends and identify opportunities to improve learner experience, engagement and impact.\nProduce meaningful reporting and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.\nRecommend improvements to learning content, processes and delivery approaches.\n7. Stakeholder Partnership\nBuild effective partnerships with business leaders, HR colleagues, programme sponsors and global stakeholders.\nParticipates in regional and global learning networks and communities of practice, collaborating with colleagues to share insights, support continuous improvement and promote consistency across learning initiatives.\n\nInfluence through expertise, credibility and evidence-based recommendations.\nCollaborate across regional and global teams to support successful implementation of learning initiatives.\nSupport facilitators, delivery partners and stakeholders to maintain high-quality learning experiences.\nKey Skills & Experience\nEssential\nAdobe Premier Pro experience with tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate or equivalent authoring tools.\nExperience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms to curate, deploy, manage and evaluate learning solutions.\n\nExperience supporting compliance or mandatory learning programmes\nExperience designing, curating, facilitating and evaluating learning solutions.\nStrong knowledge of digital learning, learner experience and modern learning approaches \nStrong planning, prioritisation and project coordination skills.\nDesirable\nAssociate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development (Level 5 or above)\n\nExperience supporting leadership, professional skills or career development programmes.\nAbility to interpret learning data and translate insights into practical recommendations.\nExperience working across regional or global learning projects.\nLocation: Leeds/Manchester\nTravel: Regular travel required to deliver learning\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nWork on landmark projects around the world and embrace opportunities to make an even bigger impact in the communities you care about.
