We support clients and projects throughout the UK & Ireland with a focus on high profile rail, highway, Local Authority and aviation projects, providing drainage designs from concept through to detail.\nAs part of the role, you will be responsible for:\nDelivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure and site development schemes.\nDelivery of projects from concept through to completion and ensuring they are delivered to a high technical standard, in a timely manner and with commercial success.\nDelivering a broad range of drainage services for the most significant transport and infrastructure projects in the UK & Ireland.\nAt the more Senior grades you will also:\nLead client relationships and attend client progress meetings.\nManage a team of drainage engineers, supporting their technical development and ensuring they are resourced on projects.\nYour team\nTogether, our people make up one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms. You will be part of a vibrant and evolving team, with an opportunity to make your mark on the future of the drainage team in WSP.\nWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrate…\nChartered or Incorporated Engineer and/or degree qualified (role dependant)\nExtensive and proven experience post degree in designing sustainable drainage solutions\nKnowledge and understanding of drainage design principles and solutions to manage infrastructure drainage\nExperience in the use of Civil 3D and/or Causeway Flow software/MicroDrainage\nProven knowledge of relevant technical standards, UK&I Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations\nSuccessful management of projects/programmes and teams to meet both quality and commercial targets\nTechnical experience in one or more of the following areas:Highway Drainage\nRail Drainage\nAirport Drainage\nAsset Management\nFoul water\nSustainable foul and surface water drainage design\nDrainage modelling software (Causeway Flow or Microdrainage)\n\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nWork on landmark projects around the world and embrace opportunities to make an even bigger impact in the communities you care about.
