Listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange with annual revenues above C$16 billion, it operates in North America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and India, and its US arm is the former Parsons Brinckerhoff. It hires bridge, structural, geotechnical, electrical and substation engineers, transport planners, acoustics specialists, environmental consultants, inspectors, BIM technicians and graduates.

What if you could shape a career as unique as you?

At WSP, we're committed to helping our people grow, thrive, and build careers that are both fulfilling and impactful. Whatever stage you're at in your career journey, you'll find opportunities to develop your skills, broaden your experience, and work on projects that truly matter. Through our global reach and collaborative culture, you'll have the chance to work alongside talented, supportive colleagues who will challenge, inspire, and help you realise your potential.

WSP's Project Management and Commercial Management discipline (PMCM) plays a central role in shaping and delivering complex real estate and built environment projects across the UK and EU. Our teams provide client-side project management, commercial management and strategic delivery advice across major development, refurbishment and estate transformation programmes, helping clients make informed decisions and achieve successful outcomes through every stage of the project lifecycle.

As our London team continues to grow, we are looking for high-performing Senior Project Managers who are excited by the opportunity to contribute to major real estate commissions across London and the South-East. This role offers the chance to lead and support projects for both public and private sector clients across a diverse portfolio, including commercial offices, mixed-use developments, residential-led regeneration, hospitality, education, life sciences, public-sector estates, complex refurbishments and live-environment developments.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and support project management commissions across the full RIBA lifecycle, from early strategy, briefing and business case development through to procurement, delivery, handover and close-out.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, supporting them in managing scope, programme, budget, risk, quality, change and stakeholder expectations with confidence and clarity.
  • Chair project, design team and stakeholder meetings, producing clear, concise and action-focused reports, minutes, dashboards and decision papers.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, contractors, specialist suppliers and internal WSP technical disciplines to support effective and successful project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, risk management and change control processes tailored to the specific needs of each commission.
  • Drive safe, sustainable, efficient and value-led outcomes, helping clients make informed decisions that balance commercial, environmental and operational priorities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, advisers, project stakeholders and industry partners, contributing to repeat business opportunities and long-term account growth.
  • Support business development activities, including bids, proposals, client presentations, market engagement and knowledge-sharing across the wider PMCM business.

Why Join Our Team?

At WSP, we believe our people are our greatest strength, and we're committed to creating an environment where you can do your best work while continuing to develop professionally.

  • You'll join WSP's wider Project and Commercial Management business, working alongside experienced project leaders, commercial specialists and technical experts on high-profile real estate and built environment commissions.
  • You'll benefit from visible leadership, structured mentoring, meaningful career development conversations and access to WSP's extensive learning and professional development resources.
  • You'll be encouraged and supported to take ownership of your career, expand your client advisory capability and progress towards Associate, Project Director or other senior leadership pathways.
  • You'll be part of a flexible, hybrid working culture that balances remote collaboration with time spent in WSP offices, client offices and project sites as required to support project and client needs.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Proven experience as a client-side Project Management Consultant within a property, construction, infrastructure or built environment consultancy.
  • A track record of leading or meaningfully supporting complex projects or programmes, ideally within the UK real estate sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage programme, scope, risk, change, quality and stakeholder priorities within a consultancy environment.
  • Confidence in chairing meetings, influencing stakeholders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and producing high-quality client-facing reports and recommendations.
  • Experience across multiple RIBA stages, with an understanding of UK procurement routes, contract forms, design management, construction delivery and handover processes.
  • Professional accreditation, or active progress towards membership of a relevant professional institution such as MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent.
  • A relevant degree, higher education qualification or equivalent practical experience in project management, construction, real estate, engineering or a related discipline.
