The team delivers highway consultancy services to support our clients through all stages of the project life-cycle from feasibility and concept design through to planning, detailed design, and construction.\nWSP are recruiting to add to the team working on the Performance Audit Group (PAG). PAG is an independent private sector organisation, employed by Transport Scotland, which monitors the performance of the Operating Companies. PAG audits, monitors and reports on the financial, technical and performance aspects of the Operating Companies to a plan agreed with Transport Scotland.\nWe are seeking someone to fulfil a PAG Winter Maintenance Technical Advisor vacancy, a role which is to provide advice on the technical and operational issues which may arise as a result of the Employer’s contracts with Suppliers involving winter maintenance works and services associated with a roads network.\nKey tasks include:\nReview, analyse and advise on technical specifications and technical standards associated with the Employer’s contracts with Suppliers involving winter maintenance operations associated with a roads network.\n\nAdvise on regulatory compliance, standards and best practice in the development and management of contracts with respect to technical specifications and technical standards associated with winter maintenance operations required for a roads network.\n\nTo be fully conversant with and understand the relevant parts of Supplier contracts\n\nProduce reports on the delivery and effectiveness of Suppliers works and services associated with winter maintenance\n\nWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrate…\nChartered professional relevant to role\nComprehensive experience of technical specifications and technical standards and legislation associated with winter maintenance works and services required for a roads network.\nDemonstrable comprehensive knowledge of technical specifications and technical standards and legislation associated with winter maintenance works and services required with a roads network.\nDemonstrable moderate experience of contract development.\nDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
