Responsibilities include managing the development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), schematic design, transportation operations, and construction-related services for a variety of transportation infrastructure projects.\nServing as a primary point of contact for public agencies, contractors, and private-sector clients, this individual will manage projects independently, lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee project budgets and schedules, and prepare scopes of work and fee proposals. If you are looking to make a difference and grow your career, we invite you to join us in shaping the future.\nYour Impact\nMust be an excellent communicator.\nServes as technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinates technical efforts within discipline areas.\nAbility to develop project scope, fee estimating, and proposal preparation, interviews, and negotiations.\nReviews assigned project(s) after award to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences and develops schedules, budgets, staffing, sub-consultant involvement, and progress billings.\nApplies engineering principles, methods, and techniques to a wide variety of transportation-related activities.\nPrepares and modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, and designs for projects.\nPerforms problem solving skills for engineering-related problems and evaluates the need for design changes or recommendations.\nReviews plans, specifications, estimates, general notes, and shop/working drawings.\nAdheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manual.\nConsults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities.\nSubmits documents to federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance review and obtains permits required.\nPerforms analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of engineering data.\nFollows safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects. Performs pre-task planning prior to executing work.
